19/12/2020 WEBSITE LAUNCH!

Today I launched my website, something I have wanted to do for a long time and with such current strange times wanted to focus on something positive. Covid-19 has been a disaster for the country and so many people have been negatively affected including people in my industry. When we went in to the first lockdown where gyms closed and contact with others was limited, I decided to do some things I never had the time to before due to so much time spent travelling over London. I created my YouTube channel "MenayMotivation", filmed a LOT of workouts for clients that were still desperate to train and fitted out a home gym that has developed over time, that was initially for me to keep sane! but is now a fitness room where I can offer clients a personal training workout with none of the usual gym distractions.

To me fitness is the cure to many things, I am proof of this as when I had my brain injury I couldn't even walk but having that fitness focus and resilience was the one thing that took me out of the darkness and gave me something to work towards. I know that it is a difficult time right now but if there is one thing you listen to me about, it's make sure you keep moving, go out for a walk, do one of my youtube workouts or even get in touch with me to discuss how we can work together. I promise you I will get results, whether it's to keep fit, lose weight, build muscle or just boost metabolism I can tailor to your needs.

21/12/20 YOGA

Starting my week off with some early morning  yoga, this is something I’ve recently taken up. I’m 5 weeks strong 6 times a week and already feeling the benefits. My flexibility has never been too great but I have made massive improvements and that quiet time to focus helps to free the mind and release body tension which I need with all the training I do! I definitely recommend trying yoga if you haven’t done it already especially with everything that is going on with COVID 19 and London back in Tier 4. Take that time out for yourself and think about what positives you have instead, mine are that my family and I are safe and healthy. Stay positive and have a good week.

 * For the people who have asked what yoga I do it is “Beginners yoga with Adrienne” on YouTube.

24/12/20 Christmas

So it's Christmas Eve, time to wind down and enjoy the festive season, I started the day with yoga and my Bodyblast YouTube workout, did some virtual training with my lovely dedicated clients, then got a few hours of basketball in whilst the weather was dry. Looking forward to tomorrow, there will be a vegetarian feast and no guilt in devouring it all as I've worked hard all year. I have got to the point that I know I can afford some cheat days without any big effect as long as I keep consistent with my training. I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and stays safe.
